Books and Ephemera – by and about women – for sale
Beginning in February 1984 I issued 214 catalogues – selling books and ephemera by post and at bookfairs and academic conferences.- until closing the business in December 2025.
Something about my career appeared in Peter Harrington’s blog and do watch a video of a fully illustrated talk I gave for the Antiquarian Booksellers Association on ‘Collecting the Suffragettes’

I have a very old book “Memoirs of George Anne Bellamy” dated 1755 that has the signature of Elizabeth Crouford on a couple of pages. Is this the same one I am replying to and is it of any value?

Definitely not my signature! The book may have some value – depending on condition – but I’m afraid I’m not in the market for buying…

Hi Elizabeth
I’ve emailed about a number of items I am interested in as part of a research project on suffragettes for Amersham Museum. Particularly keen on Catherine Courtauld photos.
I would really appreciate your getting in touch.
Many thanks
Alison
